A rare Fender Stratocaster here
Built in the US in 1996, this is number 1556 of 2500 built for the 50th anniversary of the Fender company. Not to be confused with the later 2004 50th Anniversary Strats that were built for the Strat’s 50th birthday.
A little different – whilst there are no markings, it is generally acknowledged the the Custom Shop had something to do with these too. As with all of the 2500 built, it features an Alder body with a flame Maple veneer (back and front), Maple & Rosewood neck with a ‘Modern C’ shape. Very pretty guitar.
The guitar plays beautifully and sounds great with the 3 US Vintage pickups. It comes with the original black tolex case in good condition with some of the original case candy. Have the matching Telecaster on site if you would like one of each!
